iOS Developer

(Mid level and Senior level possible)

Location: Sofia, Bulgaria

The company develops and manufactures products, and provides cloud and connectivity services for the IoT. Its portfolio consists of communication equipment for the security industry, energy distribution, logistics and more. We seek creative candidates to support new and existing product development initiatives for the cellular communicators and home automation systems.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for an iOS developer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits and will work with our team of talented engineers to design, build and enhance the next generation of our native mobile applications for smart home. The iOS developer will collaborate closely with Product Management, QA, and all software development teams.

Duties & Responsibilities: 
• Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features;
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, general reliability;
• Work on bug-fixing and improving application performance;
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency;
• Support the process of deployment of mobile apps in the app store;
• Work with a task-based approach in an agile environment (Kanban/Trello);

Advantages: 
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Informatics or equivalent;
• 3+ (for Mid) or 5+ (for Senior) years of working experience in iOS development;
• Have published one or more iOS apps in the app store;
• In-depth knowledge in Swift;
• Good understanding of iOS SDK and XCode;
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
